Five in a Row (FIAR) was created by Jane Claire Lambert, a successful home-school teacher with more than 17 years experience. Five in a Row provides students with a unit-study approach to early education based on outstanding children's literature. Together, the four volumes of Five in a Row provide lesson plans covering Social Studies, Language, Art, Applied Math, and Science in a way that causes children to fall in love with learning. Five in a Row is available in various forms to suit the age and ability of your child. Obviously, God has made every child different and the ages mentioned below are for a guide only. If you are unsure which volume is suitable for your home or just want to find out a bit more, please contact us and we would be pleased to advise as best we can.

  • Before Five in a Row - for younger children, a gentle introduction to the education experience (ages 2-4)
  • Five in a Row - the core studies, available in 4 volumes (ages 4-8)
  • Beyond Five in a Row - a further course in 3 volumes for slightly older children ( ages 8-12)
  • Above and Beyond Five in a Row - a single volume for older children (ages 12+)
